Tijdens IDFA 2011 wint Nelleke de IDFA MEDIAFONDS prijs!
Uit het juryrapport:
“In the end, the jury has chosen a film plan that is the result of extensive research, but will still depend on what happens on the spot, even when it comes to chosing the main character. It has an original subject, which promises to surprise us, both visually and thematically. The filmmaker reveals a personal fascination and then objectifies it by making others talk about it. In this way, a story comes into being that shows how, something very personal can become completely lifeless – and ultimately human again. It is a story that begins with an ending and ends with a new beginning.”
De prijs, een geldbedrag van € 125.000,- wordt jaarlijks ter beschikking gesteld door het Mediafonds en is bestemd voor de realisering van het beste filmplan, dat in de IDFA-Mediafonds Workshop is ontwikkeld. De workshop wordt gesubsidieerd en mede georganiseerd door het Mediafonds.
