BLOOD

Elles Kiers and Sjef Meijman lived intensively for seven months with four Bunte Bentheimer pigs. In the slaughtermonth they had their beloved pig Bom killed, and prepared him with their own hands. This documentary follows the artists in the final phase of their research into the origin of our food. What unfolds, is a valuable ritual surrounding the processing of this animal.
